The continuing saga of seminary man
Greetings all, It seems we're on to weekly updates now. With only about 3 weeks to go, time is running short. Last week we had a couple who came twice who really liked the house. Anne expected we would get an offer (she overheard them while they were here) but it wasn't in the cards. Their realtor said they were going to keep looking as they were concerned abut resale and the neighborhood. This is odd since Anne told them we have had no problems and the neighbors were good. This is disappointing but I hope it proves we are getting closer. I drove to Fort Wayne for a job interview with a company "Audio Video Lifestyles." They carry many similar product lines and such. They were impressed and saw many useful job skills. They will be discussing how I can fit in. The manager and coworker are both Christian and understood my attendance at the Seminary. They didn't see any problem with me having strange hours as most of their business is by appointment and from referrals. I am confident this will translate to employment. I also looked at a few houses. I liked a double-wide near campus which we will consider if I can secure payment (meaning: if the house sells or a miracle happens.) There were others which we couldn't see. Our realtor is going to do a video tour. These were all north of downtown and are nice looking. Price is right, so we'll see. Now I am too tired to type more.
