***SARCASM MODE OFF*** It is pleasant to see SBC standing up to Warren's heresy. This falls maybe only a short distance from worst ecumenical disaster of the year, Joel Osteen's Larry King interview. Check it out for complete and utter lack of confession and/or biblical knowledge!

First the interview Joel's apology

I listened to his 1.5 hour opening/dedication sermon while doing some tasks this week. He mentioned Jesus three times, lots of talk of a non-descript God, no mention of Christ's crucifiction and the essential nature of forgiveness. Pray that these folks are led back to the truth of the gospel not the "prosperity religion" Mr Osteen preaches and the "works righteousness" (your works or deeds can save) Mr. Warren teaches. Both are not taught in scripture and continue to draw people of faith towards eternal damnation.
