The desire to perfect humanity through selective abortion and euthanasia will ultimately lead to genetic engineering and "designer" babies. This is a poster child of post-mondern relevancy. Do we wish to model our civil society after these folks? I remember the S.D. O'Connor quote from last year about our laws should be modelled after Europe. Well, no thank you if it means we can't support those with terminal disease. Even if they can't enjoy long life, isn't baptism and consequent salvation of these children important?
