No news is good news

Today marks the first day of the seventh week of the first semester of three semesters of the first year of four years of school. This last weekend was a hectic, crazy and yet enjoyable one. We travelled to Lafayette after classes on Friday to begin the extravaganza that was my sis, Becky's wedding. All weekend, all fun. Needless to say it was an exciting time for all and yet recovery will pose interesting challenges. This week or next a majority of my classwork is due. Papers, tests, exegetical papers, and such. My plan is to live until the end of the semester, November 18th and then try to recover before being thrown back to the educational wolves again for winter semester. Thankfully I have scaled back the mandated 17 hours to 14 hours and we have a 3 week break for Christmas in the middle of the upcoming Semester. [ed. Lets not get ahead of ourselves, shall we?] There is significant stress and challenges with a heavier-than-full-time load as well trying to work 15 hours and have brief contact with the family. My body is trying to cope. I am coming down with something at the moment. I felt pretty rotten this morning. For the time being I write and then I will go back to the grindstone, beating out a paper due friday. Anne and the kids are doing well. It's hard to find time to do anything much apart from laundry, dishes, and kids for her. I get installed as official fieldworker on Sunday. Thankfully my duties will be delayed until next semester after I have completed Liturgics I. Enough dealy, time to return to the work. Chris
