Windows on the Mac

Okay folks, I got my Mac to dual-boot Mac OSX and Windows on Friday night. Yay. Saturday morning when I was in a class here on campus, I wiped the computer and am back to Mac OSX only. Windows is yucky. I can do it and it works. Yeah rah. But it is wrong, it is evil, it will not happen again. To sum it up, here's a summary courtesy of "Joy of Tech" comic:

Nice. ;)

I'm not tempted, oddly enough, to try and do the dual boot thing with my new iMac Core Duo. I've had enough of XP, and I'll just do without the two main apps that I have on Windows that I don't have on the Mac (Logos/Libronix & Civ IV) until the OS X versions (Universal, of course!) come out.

My whole rationale for the dual boot was my audio recording side project. I bit the bullet though in the end and purchased Logic Pro 7.2 instead. It has all the functionality of the multiple programs I used under windows and has got that Apple touch that makes it less of a chore to use.

On the other hand, Libronix in Q (kberg.ch/q) is tolerable but I can't wait for true virtualization or Logos for Mac to speed that up.
