France trip summary
Okay, we're back in Lafayette. Apologies for the radio/internet/cellphone silence. We were out in the middle of technological nowhere. Who knows how much it would have costed to call and I couldn't bring myself to drive into Le Mans' McDonalds for internet (nor did we have time.) Jet lag is bad and I won't be able to do much more for a few days. Patience is a virtue. We left at 05h45 france time and didn't get back to Lafayette until 5h15 the following day American time. Or to put it another way, we left at 23h45 Indy time and arrived back 23h15 Indy time. Ouch. To summarize, one hour at the train station, 1:45 on the train, 2:30 at the airport, 8:45 on the airplane, 2 hrs in Philly, 1:30 in airplane to Indy, 0:30 in baggage claim, and 1:00 to Lafayette driving.
