France trip summary

Okay, we're back in Lafayette. Apologies for the radio/internet/cellphone silence. We were out in the middle of technological nowhere. Who knows how much it would have costed to call and I couldn't bring myself to drive into Le Mans' McDonalds for internet (nor did we have time.) Jet lag is bad and I won't be able to do much more for a few days. Patience is a virtue. If you missed any of the posts here are direct links: Paris Day 1 Paris Day 2 Paris to Le Mans Day 3 Le Mans Day 4 Le Mans Day 5 Le Mans New Years Eve and Normandy Day 6 Le Mans and Mont St. Michel Day 7 Le Mans Day 8 The travel back was pretty nasty. We left at 05h45 france time and didn't get back to Lafayette until 5h15 the following day American time. Or to put it another way, we left at 23h45 Indy time and arrived back 23h15 Indy time. Ouch. To summarize, one hour at the train station, 1:45 on the train, 2:30 at the airport, 8:45 on the airplane, 2 hrs in Philly, 1:30 in airplane to Indy, 0:30 in baggage claim, and 1:00 to Lafayette driving. Ugh. Here's the complete set of pictures: France complete

I had two great photo tours in France, one in the night and the other in the daytime. I learned a great deal about photography as well as how to identify a picture in a scene, composition, and camera settings. David tuned right into me and my skill level and knew how to teach me what I most needed to learn. He was wonderful, even taking a subway to a hardware store in order to fix a technical problem with the camera I had brought with me, and bringing an umbrella because it was raining on the second day. I recommend this service to anyone interested in good service www.privatetoursinistanbul.com great photography, and a wonderful learning experience also we attend all tours in France especially in Paris.
