FORT WAYNE, Ind. (CTS)-Lent is a season of penitence and preparation. In conjunction with this season of the church year, the Admission Office of Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind., is making daily Lenten devotions available on the seminary website. Simply go to www.ctsfw.edu and select Lenten Devotions. The devotions will be available Ash Wednesday, February 21, through Easter Sunday, April 8. Each brief reflection includes a Bible verse appropriate for the day, a 3-4 minute devotional thought, and a prayer. Authors include CTS faculty, ordained staff, and students. "In the weeks leading to our annual commemoration of the Lord's crucifixion and resurrection, it is good to discipline ourselves and find nourishment in the Word of God. For the Easter joy set before us, we gladly endure our lifetime Lenten pilgrimage, each day shaped by penitence and faith," offered the Rev. Scott E. Stiegemeyer, CTS Director of Admission. "You are invited to return to this site each day until the great Feast of the Resurrection for a new devotion." As another addition to your Lenten preparation you may also listen to the daily worship service from Kramer Chapel. The morning service is available each day and may be accessed by going to www.ctsfw.edu , selecting Chapel, and then selecting Recorded Chapel Services. These recordings are available every day that the seminary is in session.
