Vicarage update!
Sorry folks for the long time without a post. We were in Vermont for a week, then home for five days packing, then to Frankentrost for a day and night, then to the U.P. for six days, then back to Frankentrost for a day, the a Sunday of Installation, liturgist, reception, visitation, and dinner with the folks. Today was a whirlwind tour of some of the essential Frankenmuth spots (butcher, baker, sausage maker, beer spots, barber, post office, mortician, etc.) I just got back from a visitation and am pooped. My head is starting to hurt so I'm going home to relax this evening. Tomorrow pastor is going out of town for the day and I've got a sermon to write. Everything is going splendidly. As pastor said, "This vicarage is like a cream puff." I hope his words ring true. From all evidence so far, I expect it to be so. We're not dead, lost, or missing. We're here and trying to get into the swing of things. Watch for photos of our trips and move to appear later as I have time to sort and prep them. Chris
