Musings, ramblings, and nonsense from the fringe of space and time

Speed Issues, etc.

This is not an Issues, etc. post. Sorry for the bait-'n-switch. The blog is running REAL slow due to my web host/provider doing upgrades. They've been working on it for weeks, with no end in sight. When the contract is up, I'm going to migrate the site to another host. Maybe I'll drop the dizzysound.net domain entirely with the advent of all the Google apps. We'll see. The Kantorei from Concordia Theological Seminary (my sem) led a Easter choral Matins last night here at Immanuel. It was a terrific service with processional and festive Easter song. I had great fellowship with old friends and professors. Since Anne and children are in a holding pattern in Indiana, awaiting the delivery of our newest niece/nephew, the home was empty. I hosted four people, complete with basketball and beer. Now that I've received such fine things, I best be about writing up the fine words of our Lord for tomorrow's Matins.

I might be able to help you with your hosting situation. Take a look at a site I am starting: 'confessors.org' and if you like that I could set you up with something. The look and feel of the site could easily be something like what you have here. Get with me if you are interested.

Vicar,
We enjoyed our time at your place...thank you for the hospitality and the good coffee. The choir and I had a great time in your town. Greet Pastor Loest for me! Take care!

Thanks! It was a pleasure to have friendly faces and voices in my midst! A couple folks commented on the conduct of even the matins on Saturday morning as being impressive. (Of course that was normal to us, if even a bit shaky on the Te Deum mode change!)

We'll have to do it again sometime. I didn't even break out the espresso kit. :)
