Anne and the kids are at the sister-in-law, waiting for my sister to go into labor. I leave the Fort tomorrow for the Society of Biblical Literature annual meeting in Boston. A couple of us are attending, in addition to five or so faculty. Its a big conference with hundreds of papers presented. I'll be flying back to Fort Wayne on Tuesday. I'm going computer-silent, except carrying the little pocket Mac (iPhone.) I suppose that means I won't be silent at all. Don't expect any liveblogging from the conference; I can't type fast enough on the iPhone. We'll see some of you for thanksgiving and Grandma's birthday. Until then.
