Naomi update
Naomi has been undergoing testing the last couple days. She's been having myoclonic (mini) seizures off-and-on for a while. They're kind of like hiccups or a chill/shiver, not the major fits you might be thinking of. Generally they occur when she gets startled awake and are difficult to predict. On Tuesday after her morning nap she had one that was different. It was more intense and much longer in duration. Anne took her to the emergency room. They took a blood sample, checked her vitals and did a CT scan. On Wednesday, she went to our pediatrician (who apparently knows something about these seizures too). The physician's assistant sent her to Lutheran Hospital for a EEG and MRI. They delayed the MRI to today, Thursday. The rapidity of the testing is because we're going on vacation next week, not the severity. We don't have a diagnosis yet. Many are desiring to pray for her so and wanted more information. Hopefully we'll know something more next week.
