While we might be tempted to think of our heavenly Father as a shrewd businessman, today’s parable paints a totally different picture. He is a generous landowner, who invites all sorts into his harvest field and rewards them all equally and bountifully. Therein we learn that our God is gracious, full of goodness and mercy.
